    Michelle Craig

The main character is Robin, a lost boy who is under parented and lacks focus and guidance in his life. He struggles to engage with school and finds making friends very hard. Companionship is limited to his dog Sampson; they both like to walk in the woods which surround the village. While on one of their walks they stumble across a fox den. Here the story, which is a split narrative piece, part told through Robin’s experiences and the other follows the life of a vixen, dog fox and their cubs.
